NMJAS forms & documents

The judging criteria and format were changed in 2022, based on feedback from 2021.

The general categories for manuscript judging are:
– mechanics & effort (20%)
– clarity (30%)
– analytical approach (20%)
– thoroughness (20%)
– creativity (10%)

The general categories for oral presentation judging are:
– dynamics (20%)
– narrative (40%)
– visuals (10%)
– questioning (30)%.

Judges’ forms

Note: version 1 of each has a single scoring column with a scale of 1-10 and can be used with online scoring; version 2 has a second scoring column for you to calculate actual points by applying the category weight.
